International Epilepsy Day 2026

Brno Epilepsy Center celebrated International Epilepsy Day not only symbolically, but also with concrete actions. We joined a global challenge Epilepsy Pledge.

Simultaneously, we became part of the 50 Million Steps for Epilepsy campaign, which reminds us that every step counts—not only physically, but also symbolically.

However, there are still many steps to be taken to ensure that people with epilepsy are not stigmatized and are not afraid to seek professional help.

Our patients also joined an art challenge on the theme of “The Art of Possibility”. You can view their works in a virtual art exhibition.

The aim of our activities is to spread reliable, medically verified information about epilepsy, dispel myths, and promote open dialogue without fear or prejudice.
