With deep sorrow in our hearts, we announce that Prof. Ivan Rektor, M.D., Ph.D., has passed away. We have lost a leading figure in Czech and global neurology and, above all, a visionary who laid the foundations for the Brno Epilepsy Center.

Associate Professor Irena Doležalová won an award in the FNUSA Employee of the Year poll
On the occasion of the 240th anniversary of the founding of St. Anne’s University Hospital in Brno, Assoc. Prof. Irena Doležalová, M.D., Ph.D., from the First Department of Neurology at St. Anne’s University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University, won second place in the “Scientist” category of the Employee of the Year poll.
